Mexico’s Christmas traditions are based on Mexico’s form of Roman Catholicism and popular culture traditions also called posadas.
The tradition of putting up a Christmas tree and decorating it was introduced into Britain by George III’s wife Queen Charlotte.
As in the West, Christian churches in Korea hold Christmas pageants and conduct special services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
On Christmas Eve, presents are supposedly delivered in stockings and under the Christmas tree by Father Christmas, who previously had been something like The Ghost of Christmas Present in Charles Dickens ‘ A Christmas Carol, but has now become mainly conflated with Santa Claus.
